WE use this sweet bag for my precious babies favorite book, doll & pretend baby bottle to take in the car. Its HER little bag of goodies. A perfect little bag to have handy for our million trips in the car. Its sweet & so precious. It has the vintage charm of when days were much more innocent & simple. LOVE IT & LOVE HER.

Dreamy Headboards....
How is this for a cozy place to nestle? Imagine this lucky princess drifting off to slumerland & dreaming magical dreams.... Nice, huh? Barry Dixon a designer from Viginia designs some gorgeous rooms. I thought this little headboard & the way he transformed this little nook was was way too charming. Not everyone can be as Posh as this but you can use your imagination & look at things in a whole new way.

How dramatic is this? I Love it. This style is way easy to recreate. Very Regal. Very classy. Get some plywood, some batting or foam some great stiped material & if you can't afford it... get white canvas & Paint your stripes.* Little tip ~ use some fabric medium w/ your regular paint. look for some great nail heads or get creative & use some nails or screws that are a bit more chunky & paint them to have the color, stain, metal effect you want. & outline the piece. You can use whatever you want for overhead lighting, sconces or artwork/accessorie for the middle piece. keep it simple, clean & Vogue by a few unique objects. you do not need a whole lot to get big impact. Now let your imagination run wild & dream up diff. headboards & color schemes.
I'd be happy to help ; ) I love a challenge.
Fabulous Jewelry Designer
I found My new Jewlery designer. Amanda Jaron. Her work is beautiful. This coca ~ cola piece is absolutely stunning! Not only is it gorgeous.... Its eco -friendly. Recycled art realy has come along way. Wouldn't you say? This mommy of twins is doing it all & is such a wonderful soul who supports other moms in business. Love her! ~ I love these two pieces also. Check her site out. She has so many styles to choose from and is involved in some great causes too.http://www.ajaron.com/shop.php

Things that inspire me...
Fashion Inspires Me.....
Mr. Galliano is such a wonderful talented crazy mind full of passion, dreams, creations, style, pizzaz, energy, zest for life, attitude, ideas, & energy that soo inspires me with everything he does. to see him is to admire him & to get shocked at same time.
Do not ever judge a book by a cover. it is so true. you never know what is behind the "mask" and so many have a heart of gold, no bad bone in their body yet might not have the "LOOK" you care for. yet the ones with the "LOOK" you accept.... could have many hidden secrets that are left to be unsaid. Give people a chance before judging
(I wrote this so long ago on my flickr account) & its sooo true.
Pink Fairy Collaged Hook
This is an old piece of wood with a big chunky screw painted to use as a hook. Top corner is 2 pearls from some old piece of jewelry. This is painted shabby pink & gesso collaged with bits of writing on light green paper beneath the paint, a few white polka dots for fun.
A Lovely little vintage girl fairy with sweet wings & crown.
Cute lovely thing.
so many things to hang so many ideas for this charming bit of cottage whimsy.
She has a soul this piece, : )

Inspiring Places ~
*Ladurée Royale ~This tea salon created in 1862 and decorated with wainscoting and frescos depicting angelic pastry chefs and voluptuous ladies, became a favorite address for people from all walks of life. Since then the tea room’s habitués have rubbed shoulders with tourists and personalities from the world over.
Ooooh La La French inspiration....
I Love Paris. I Love French things. I LOVE European cities & their wealth of art & architecture & the old world charm..... oh of course the European men & their accents. Don't we all. Never mind men, Women too. I just love accents. I have always been fascinated with the long ago world of antiques & castles & anything that made me believe in fairy tales & what granduer it all entailed. Maybe thats why I love to create little tesors that have the charm of long ago French boutiques. All their little goodies for the special little girls whom had to have the best. Not your typical decor each commoner would have but Unique pieces that weren't found in the everyday stores. These pieces were found on shopping trips to Big cities were only the affluent would travel. Yes, thats what I envisioned when I would dream of what a little princess might have in her special little bedroom. Today I still do the same. I try to create a piece no other will have. A charming piece of something fanciful yet practical & just so sweet to look at.
I Love dreaming & adding that little extra something to make it special. You can always be assured that no two will ever be exactly alike.I design everything & create everything myself. Im a mommy to 5 girls. Im not a factory in China. Its all me. I Love what I do. I want to continue creating & dreaming up magical designs for your special princess, her friends & anyone you know that deserves a special gift.
If you have ideas.... share them with me. I would love to help you dream up a wonderful gift for someone you want to impress or make feel special. Special words, sweet sentiments or famous poems can be added to any piece I create. Just let me know.
So for now, please enjoy my pictures of what I do & those in wich inpsire me.
Enjoy ~
This is my "Sweet Cherub" hook in iced lilac.
Painted the softest lilac & hints of gold, whitewashed for a dreamy effect on a distressed/salvaged board (perhaps from an old cottage in the picturesque town of Provence.)
A bouquet of lavender hued flowers & painted berries & bits of sparkles from crystal & glass glitter adorn this piece. Simply charming & oh so sweet!

Such a charming & rich costume. Just beautiful. Take a peak into this talented moms store on ebay. So creative & filled with lots of details & magic.I got oodles of inspiration from all her designs. Now what shall I create? I'd LOVE to make a little pedistal keepsake box in these BOLD colors. But who would buy it? ORANGE is a strong color. Maybe for Halloween a magical pumpkin treasure box. For the more Posh Mom who loves to decorate for Halloween but in a more Posh look? because you know... i would have to add my yummy details, gold dusted powder, a little crystal here a rhinestone there & you know... all the sparkle the posh Princess uses to decorate... not your typical halloween decorations. You know the one whom likes to stand out among the rest. If you know her... send her my way. : )

Note from Cheri:This cookie design is a creation of my friends Mary Ann Ross and Kimberly Lainson, the party divas at ThePartyWorks.com. I think these will be cute to have at the "HARVEST HAPPENING".....not like I have extra time to make complicated cookies, but I think with help from my sweet princess, this is not as complicated as it looks. well, time consuming. I know its not complicated, but BAKING is for me lately.
If i do these, i'll post them & the pail I paint if i get time.
wish me luck!
So many creative recipes & creepy looking cookies..I want to make them all. But I think I'll stick to just 2 or 3 & possibly paint a cute pail to put them in & her teacher can keep the pail for herself after.
I'll make sure to wrap them in celephane (orange) & maybe make whatever cookie I decide to do ~ I'll make extra large & put it on a stick to make it fun for the children.Plus they'll make my "pail/bucket" look fun....
This cool idea for delicious but creepy Halloween cookies that really look like fingers, comes to us from Jenny Wanderscheid, editor of Childfun.com, where you can visit year round for great kids crafts and activities.
If you want to make toes instead of fingers, shape your cookies a little shorter and fatter and leave off the red coloring on the almond "nail."
Politcally Correct Finger CookiesReader Connie Johnson sent this wonderful story, with a terrific idea for diversifying these cookies:"I just read the Halloween section of the newsletter and thought I would share a story with you. I am a volunteer with Junior Achievement and was presenting the Business Basics Program to a Grade 6 class. It was close to Halloween, so I made Witch's Fingers for the class. I handed them out and one of my Asian students came to me and said, 'Ms. Johnson, did you know if you put chocolate in the cookies, you could make brown ones too?' The teacher and I had a great laugh and I thanked the student for his tip. I haven't tried it yet but plan to make these 'politically correct' cookies this year by adding cocoa to the recipe."

Comming Soon...
Im working on my web site with a web designer from Florida. She is such a sweetie pie & very patient with me. I have so many projects going on at once & my girls keep me busy. Not to mention... My 8 month baby is starting to walk & that alone is very demanding!!!
For now I have my Web address linked to my "ETSY" site. I have just a few things on there right now. Once my site is up & running it will switch over to the OFFICIAL site & my ETSY site will be linked from there.
Im having hacker problems, viruses etc... so it is really frustrating trying to get things online with everything I have going on.
So im taking it one day at a time & hoping Things will come together real quick!
ok.... Im off again to dream & get more yummy ideas to create something more magical & delicious for little girls. oh.... I do design for little boys too, but I have just been focusing on girls
since I have 5 of them. Its just so much more fun yet i would love to be challenged & create a line for boys.... Any ideas????

I LOVE being a girl. I Love all My girls. Being a GIRL has come along way. For awhile, women were afraid to show their feminine side. it shown a weakness in a "man's" world.Women felt the need to show their "stronger" side by being less womanly, feminine.
Those were the ones trying to find their way in the "working" world.
WE were made to be a female, so therefor, we are feminine by nature. Some more than others.

Crown Prince fairy
What a charming little Royal Fairy this little guy is.
I so loved making him. He is such a handsome Prince. He WILL one day Rule the world. I painted the matt as well as the frame to all blend together. I used wax over the entire piece. I just rubbed it all over. Not bees wax but furniture wax. I just wanted to see how it would turn out. I had no idea but It worked & it turned out great & I LOVE it. Gives it an aged appearance. Very dreamy. I also rubbed on & off a burt umber paint for antique effect also.
Just to see how it would look. I used a wide cream silk ribbon at the top. then thought it needed a bit of black at the top so i used a black & white gingham ribbon ..... as if it were hung by the ribbon, but it was only for effect. whomever would buy this can figure out what way you want to go with it & do whatever you want. im going to post this on Etsy or ebay? not sure yet which one. I am going to list some things on ebay too. I have several things on etsy. I never solf on there yet. I used to sell on ebay years ago. I had over 1,000 positive feedbacks. It stinks that i have to start all over. O well. I'll get it back again. I am working on a web site with this wondeful girl. I hope to sell from there, etsy, ebay & have my myspace & flickr too. Any links & exposure to ME ~ JOELLE Dolce Bebe is great. I hope its worth it to have more than one place. Let me know if you have any other ideas or what works for you. I would appreciate it as well as anyone else reading this that may have same questions.
thank you & keep creating. XOXO Joelle
Pink Cottage charm & sparkles...
Pink. What a pretty color. Its seems PINK is the NEW BLACK! (whatever that really means???) I wear Black all the time. Little black dress. Not gothic. Not to HIDE myself. Just becuase I usually find really wonderful dresses, tops that look great on me & happen to be made in black. Ofcourse, they do make me FEEL skinnier too : )I happen to get a lot of wonderful comments too when i wear black. So I like wearing black. However... I sooo adore PINK. Its so feminine, pretty, soft, romantic & dreamy for ALL ages. Im not sure why the last few years PEOPLE have gone crazy with Pink. to me, I have always loved it. for those whom are appreciating it now? im not sure what sparked the big Girly craze? Maybe people are figuring out its ok to be girly & you can still be STRONG & independent at the same time. GO GIRLS! YEA for you all ~ FINALLY getting it. Don't be afraid to be YOU, A GIRL. Old or young ~ your still a girl. be proud. just don't let commerical things define you. Except it because thats who you are. Im old fashioned at heart. Even though I want to be the next multi millionare just like everyone else reaching/persuing their DREAMS, but I do know being a mommy, MY place is at home with my family.I am lucky to be able to. Im very grateful. I Love being a mommy, but I miss having a identity other than MOMMY. So designing, creating, dreaming & meeting other artist (hate to say the C word)shhhhh...crafters.(tell you later why ~ for me)
Mommy is an important job & a proud thing. I love it. I guess I just want my girls to see me being more than that. To see me being successful as some of their friends moms whom have "real Professional" jobs. I guess I want them to see that the "crafters" can make just as much & tons more if they are ambitious enough to persue it.
I am. Im ready. Now what? ; ) XOXO
This is another sweet little fairy collage that i am working on right now. She is the sweetes little thing. I think she looks a bit like all my girls when they were little. Im trying to add a bit more to it. Maybe a little sparkle here or there. All the little white circles will have glass glitter on them... outlined with gold. Her crown also have circles on the top wich are painted a green & Glass glitter on them too. Very magical & sweet. I think it is cute the way it is, but im trying to find something diff. to use & maybe hang with something clever & unique. She needs a wand & ribbon at corner of box. Have to add some pearls & crystals perhaps??? whatever it is that i find.... Im sure she will be ready for some young princess to enjoy. Now I just need to figure out should it be on EBAY or ETSY??? How does one figure those things out?
